Hello Tennessee and all our Radio Amateur operators. Jean (KE4OEQ) and I managed to get to the GLADEVILLE Hamfest and it was great, we enjoyed the fellowship and meeting several old and new friends. I want to thank Roger and their club for the invitation and courtesy they showed us. We managed to work the ARRL table and sign up some new members. They had lots of good door prizes and main a prize, course you had to be there.I look forward to next years event. I have also been able to get back on a few 3980 nets even took some traffic this morning and believe me it felt great.
Enough about me, I want to thank all the Hams in Tennessee that helped with the Hurricane traffic this month. The West Tennessee ARES groups and the MARS group that stood ready when and if called upon. Its Amateur's like you that makes Ham radio a pleasure. Keep up the GOOD WORK.
I also want to again thank the net controls on 3980 who give their time and energy to making it happen. All the NTS Hams that Handel the traffic and keep us informed. I look forward to seeing our traffic handling pick up with routine, priority, and formal traffic. This is what keeps proficient in being able to work the Emergency's when they happen.
Again I thank God for allowing me the privilege to be here.
Keep up your outstanding work. Thanks.
With Gods help we will be seeing you soon.
