Bill Moore, NC1L

Bill Moore, NC1L, is DXCC Manager of the American Radio Relay League (ARRL), the national association for Amateur Radio. Moore oversees the League's DXCC awards program. He also serves on the ARRL Awards Committee.

First licensed in 1985, Moore held the call sign KA1MRR, and later KB1UN.

His interests in Amateur Radio include phone, RTTY, SSTV and other digital modes.

Prior to joining the ARRL staff in 1992, Moore worked for Otis Elevator Company, and as a Military Police Officer with the U.S. Army.

Moore lives in Newington, Connecticut, with his wife Sharon.

Outside of ham radio, he is a scanner/SWL monitor buff, and enjoys computers.
